This works great and give you really good hockey cards! Could be great if they added the ability to upload your own team logo instead of the player clip art. Also missing a very import stat for goalies...shutouts.
As a amateur in hockey, I spend some time in playing at hockey with my team every half month. I get a lot of fun from it. When met this app, I began to have interest in making our own star cards. Its fun and I can share them with our community.
This app is awesome for making hockey cards ! It is also so useful ! But why cant you add more then 1 year ?

Some bad moments

Just bought it and it keeps on crashing when I open it. Looks good but fix the bug
The end product is lacklustre. Looking about the same as a Polaroid picture vintage 1980. Saturation is weak and clarity is lost. Its a fun app and the template is good on both sides. But the main image is really poor quality.
What they dont tell you...you pay $2 and only get one card design. Every other design, most of which are poorly conceived, costs $2 more each. And the one design you do get has little customization. You cannot choose the font, customize the position, or get that stupid star off the face of the card. And then there is the constant annoying crowd sound effect in the background that you cant turn off. What in the world? What a terribly executed app. Greedy, greedy, greedy.
This app really brought back memories for me of collecting cards as a teenager -- it even has the wax paper package to rip open in order to create new cards. Very detailed and a real bargain.
I grew up collecting hockey and baseball cards (in that order). I never thought I would find trading cards like the ones I remember from more than thirty years ago on the iPhone! These are completely awesome and the printed cards are sensational. I ordered 12 packs of cards for the guys on my rec-league team and everyone was blown away by the professional quality. I cant recommend these enough to anyone who loves hockey, or more specifically hockey cards. A strike may be looming, but these make me feel downright cheerful about hockeys future.
